WARMF simulates the processes occurring in a watershed that affect flow and water quality, including both natural and anthropogenic processes. The model representation of these processes is based on fundamental chemical and physical principles, and a water volume balance and mass balance of roughly 40 chemical constituents are maintained through every model element. Unique or less common watershed processes can be added by Systech.
